JOSUE ARIEL FUNEZ Anaerobic Natural Honduras

Josué Ariel Fúnez is a third-generation coffee farmer who grew up in the
mountains of San Sebastián, Comayagua, where coffee has always been
part of his family's way of life. Raised in humble conditions, he learned
from an early age that perseverance and hard work are essential to
producing exceptional coffee. Today, he is recognized for producing
distinctive microlots through careful processing and a constant
commitment to quality.
Since last season, Josué has continued transforming Finca Las Flores into
a more specialized coffee operation. During the 2025-2026 harvest, he
improved crop management by implementing canopy regulation, tissue
management, organic fertilization, and renovating his wet mill -
investments that have strengthened both coffee quality and the
consistency of every lot produced on the farm.
Today, Finca Las Flores produces approximately 300 quintals per season, achieving cup scores of up to 90 points. Josué's next
goals are to compete in the Cup of Excellence Honduras and to establish his own cupping laboratory on the farm - strengthening
quality control and traceability as he builds long-term partnerships rooted in transparency and innovation.
